Barnardo's Big ToddleThroughout June, Toddlers will be putting their best foot forward at Wacky Warehouse for the Barnardo’s Big Toddle – a sponsored half mile walk the “Wacky Way” for under 5’s. Every Tuesday in June, Wacky Warehouses across the country will run ‘’Toddle Tuesday Activities”, between 10.00 and 12.00, raising funds in aid of Barnardo’s. Culminating on Tuesday 24th June, with a fantasic Wacky Big Toddle with £1 from every admission being donated to Barnardo’s. All monies raised will be donated to local Barnardo’s projects working with disadvantaged young children, such as play schemes for children with disabilities, family centres and parenting classes. Barnardo’s works with approximately 115,000 children, young people and their families in 394 specialised projects in communities across the UK. This includes work with children affected by today’s most urgent issues: poverty, homelessness, disability, bereavement and abuse. Now in its 12th year, the Toddle continues to be the biggest, brightest and best fundraising event for young children, with thousands taking part in Toddles across the UK. ... Go Back |
